Your iPhone has a Siri AI kill switch: here's how it works

Apple added an option in iOS 27 to fully disable its new Siri AI agent, which runs on Google's Gemini models. Turning it off removes the chatbot and voice commands, but Apple Intelligence features keep working.

• Siri AI is available on iPhone 15 Pro and later with iOS 27
• To disable: Settings > Siri > Turn Off Siri
• Apple Intelligence features cannot be turned off
• Old Siri AI conversations remain in the app
