FBI and EPA warn of MicroLogix PLC attacks on water utilities
The FBI and EPA issued joint advisory I-073026-PSA on a campaign against water and wastewater systems targeting Rockwell Automation and Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1100 and 1400 controllers. Incidents reported since 27 July across at least seven states involved changed passwords, IP addresses and ladder logic, causing pressure loss and flooding. The EPA announced $11.75 million in grants for water infrastructure resilience.
