Samsung Display starts mass AMOLED production for Galaxy S27 series

Samsung Display is preparing to mass produce AMOLED panels for the Galaxy S27 family, which will include four models: 6.27", 6.66", 6.47" and 6.89". The shipment target is 47–48 million panels, about 10% more than for the Galaxy S26 line.

• The Galaxy S27 lineup will have four models: S27, S27+, S27 Pro and S27 Ultra
• Panel shipment target is 47–48 million units vs the "low 40 million range" for Galaxy S26
• Galaxy S27 Pro is slated for 2–3 million panels this year and 4–5 million next year
• The series is expected to launch in early 2027
