Runway unveils Praxis-1 world action model for robotics

Runway AI introduced Praxis-1, an open-weight world action model that turns its large-scale video pretraining into robot control. The model learns mostly from third-person video rather than scarce robot demonstrations and is already being tested by partners Noble Machines, Standard Bots, and Ultra. A public release with open weights is planned for the coming months.
