Pew: 64% of Americans Say Social Media Harms Democracy
Pew Research Center surveyed over 45,000 people in 37 countries and found the share viewing social media as bad for democracy rose in 16 of 26 countries with earlier data. In the US, 64% of adults said social media harms democracy, while 82% of Australians back the under-16 ban.
