Galaxy Z Fold 8 is 53g lighter than iPhone Duo with same 7.6-inch display

Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 weighs 201g versus 254g for the iPhone Duo despite both having a 7.6-inch inner display. The Fold 8 is also thinner at 9.7mm folded and 4.5mm unfolded, against 11.3mm and 5.2mm. Samsung credits a reworked Flex Titanium display support structure, redesigned internals and a 4,800 mAh silicon-carbon battery.
