Yann LeCun calls Anthropic's Dario Amodei 'deluded'
Turing Award winner Yann LeCun told Fortune he has "zero concerns" about recent rogue AI incidents and does not fear AI wiping out humanity. He called Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei "deluded" and "crazy", blaming him and OpenAI's Sam Altman for the "worst marketing campaign" and for pushing regulatory capture.
- LeCun says rogue AI incidents, including the Hugging Face hack by OpenAI agents, were "totally preventable"

- LeCun calls effective altruism "super toxic" and "a complete disaster"
- LeCun left Meta after 12 years to found AMI Labs in Paris with 60+ staff building JEPA world models
