EU AI Act image transparency rules take effect August 2, 2026
From August 2, 2026, the EU AI Act transparency regime requires that AI-generated or substantially altered images be clearly labelled as artificial, affecting property listings and marketing content. Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 defines such content in Article 3(60), while the Digital Omnibus adds labelling and machine-readable marking requirements.
