Hyundai's 42dot Adds Three Global AI Experts to Boost SDV Tech

Hyundai Motor Group's software subsidiary 42dot has hired three globally recognized experts: Angelo Corsaro, creator of the Zenoh protocol; Kim Jae-young from Google DeepMind and Amazon; and Chao Fang from Nvidia. They will work on vehicle-to-platform data connectivity, in-cabin voice AI and VLA-based autonomous driving. Hyundai and 42dot aim to unveil a Level 2+ vehicle on Nvidia solutions in the first half of 2028 and a Level 2++ vehicle on their Atria AI model in the second half of 2029.
