Cybercabs Are Taking Psychotic Routes That Turn Tiny Trips Around the Neighborhood Into Hour-Long Nightmares

A Tesla Cybercab passenger in Austin reported that a trip expected to take 10 minutes stretched to 70 minutes: the robotaxi went in the opposite direction and then took a large detour. The reason is likely that the Cybercab cannot yet drive on highways and avoids railroad crossings, and the app shows only the price, not the travel time.
