Hyundai IONIQ 5 sales top 31,000 through September 2026

Hyundai sold 31,112 IONIQ 5 EVs in the first nine months of 2026, down 24% from a year earlier when the $7,500 federal tax credit was available. Third-quarter sales fell 65% to 2,928 units, but the IONIQ 5 remains one of America's top-selling EVs, ahead of the Chevy Equinox EV and Toyota bZ.
