Iranian accused of hacking US universities extradited from Montenegro
Amir Barati, a dual citizen of Iran and Turkey, has been extradited from Montenegro to the United States. He is accused of participating in a hacking campaign run through the Mabna Institute for the IRGC that breached 144 US universities and stole at least 31 terabytes of data, with damages estimated at $3.4 billion.
