Trump Nominates Lt. Gen. Miller to Lead U.S. Space Command
President Donald Trump has nominated Space Force Lt. Gen. David N. Miller Jr. to command USSPACECOM, two weeks after the Pentagon publicly acknowledged U.S. orbital weapons for the first time. If confirmed, Miller would be the first commander to inherit a publicly acknowledged on-orbit arsenal.
