iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max users report speaker popping noises

Users on Reddit and Apple forums report crackling and popping noises from the speakers of the new iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, including the earpiece speaker. The iOS 27.0.1 update did not fix the issue for some, and at least one user found a replacement unit had the same defect. Apple has not responded to Mashable's request for comment.
