Micron: humanoid robots will keep memory demand high even if AI bubble pops
Micron said in its FY27 guidance that memory demand will stay elevated even if the AI boom ends, driven by humanoid robot production. CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said each humanoid needs at least around 200GB of DRAM and several terabytes of storage, while current memory demand already exceeds supply by 50%.
