Toyota shows Century SUV in Detroit, hints at global sales
Toyota has shown its ultra-luxury Century SUV to American audiences for the first time, with Chairman Akio Toyoda arriving in a GRMN version at his Automotive Hall of Fame induction in Detroit. CTO Hiroki Nakajima told Bloomberg the model is global and the company wants feedback. The SUV has sold in Japan since 2023 for ¥25 million (about $170,000), with output of roughly 30 cars a month.
