ZeniMax Online Studios is overhauling The Elder Scrolls Online, moving away from yearly expansions toward a seasonal content model with less combat-focused playstyles. Game director Nick Giacomini calls it a "renaissance" for the 12-year-old MMO, with new content types including Nowhere Vault, Rumors, and High Seas of Tamriel.
