BMW unveils F 450 R roadster based on F 450 GS platform from £6,395

BMW has launched the F 450 R, a stripped-down roadster built on the platform of its F 450 GS. The 420cc parallel-twin makes 48 hp at 8,750 rpm and 32 lb-ft of torque, with a 386-pound weight and 31.1-inch seat height. UK pricing starts at £6,395 (about $8,440).
