Aptera cuts production launch cost to $25M, stock drops 15%

Aptera says it now needs about $25 million to start production of its Solar EV, down from the $40–45 million cited seven weeks ago. The full plan totals roughly $115 million versus $180–205 million before. Shares fell about 15%, leaving a market cap near $69 million, with customer deliveries pushed to early 2027 subject to financing.
