Pentagon breach exposed data of over 3 million people for nine months

The Defense Manpower Data Center's personnel system was accessed from October 2025 to July 2026 before the vulnerability was patched. The breach affected 2.76 million living people and 294,000 deceased, exposing Social Security numbers and job information.
