AI to Increase Storage Demand, but Only 38% Are Fully Prepared: Seagate

Seagate's 2026 Data Infrastructure Readiness Report found 99% of organizations expect AI to increase data storage needs over the next three years, with 32% expecting growth of more than 50%. Only 38% are fully prepared; the top barriers are data readiness (53%), storage infrastructure (43%) and compute availability (27%).
