Steam Frame price was probably around $750 before AI spoiled Valve’s plans

Valve developer Pierre-Loup Griffais told IGN that the final price of Steam Frame was affected by rising costs of memory, copper, and boards, similar to Steam Deck and Steam Machine. Club386 estimates the headset's original price would have been around $735–750, still more expensive than Meta Quest 3 ($599).
