Planted raises $32M to build solar farms with robots on less land

Startup Planted raised $31.8 million in a round led by Piva Capital and RA Capital Management for technology that installs solar panels using robots guided by a digital terrain twin. The approach cuts land use by 40% or more and speeds up project approvals.

• St. Louis project used 40% less land for the same capacity
• Robot Sage is twice as productive as current generation, fleet booked through year-end
