Gears of War: E-Day review — a return to form for the series

The Coalition brings back Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago in a prequel set on Emergence Day, the start of the Locust invasion. The review calls it the best entry since Gears of War 3, with satisfying cover-based combat, giant enemies and an emotional story. It launches October 6, 2026 on Xbox Series X/S and PC for $69.
