Keurig's Alta Brings Plastic-Free Pods and Real Espresso

Keurig unveiled the Alta, a Wi-Fi-connected brewer with a touchscreen and integrated frother that uses plastic-free AltaRounds pods wrapped in a seaweed-based alginate coating. It delivers up to 10 bars of pressure for real espresso. Preorders are open at $500 as a bundle, with shipping starting Oct. 21.
