Dutch spy agency warns smart car features could be used for espionage
The Dutch AIVD warned drivers that microphones, cameras and GPS trackers in modern cars could be used by hostile states to spy on them. The agency advised against confidential conversations in vehicles and pairing phones with them. The warning comes as Chinese brands reach 15% of new car registrations in the UK.
