Mencast Marine's WAAM Propeller Earns Dual Class Certification

Singapore's Mencast Marine has secured certification from Lloyd's Register and ABS for what the societies recognize as the world's first fully additively manufactured propeller. The wire arc additive manufacturing process halves production time and cuts the carbon footprint of a 200 kg propeller by 36%, saving 1,743 kg of CO2.
