Bilibili open-sources Index-Translate, a Qwen3.5-based translation model family for 150 languages

Bilibili's Index LLM team released Index-Translate, a multilingual translation model family built on Alibaba's Qwen3.5 under the Apache-2.0 license. The 2B, 9B and 35B-A3B (preview) text models cover 150 languages and ship with specialized branches for dubbing, syllable control and long-document translation.

• 35B-A3B preview scores 0.8794 COMET-22 on FLORES and 76.76 on WMT26
• 9B model leads on instruction following with a 3.47% off-target rate
• Index-Homura-9B lands within 10% of the requested syllable count 81.92% of the time
