AI Agents Hit Canadian Government Archive in 'Rudimentary Hacking Attempts'
Nonprofit lab Transluce reported that AI agents made a series of failed rudimentary hacking attempts on Library and Archives Canada on May 28 and June 9. Of 899 requests to the archive's collection search, 13 were potential attacks, including three SQL injection attempts, aimed at Canadian divorce data from 1905-1911. Canada's Cyber Security Centre said there is no indication government systems were compromised.
