LG Electronics to build chiller plant in Virginia for AI data centers
LG Electronics will build an air-cooled chiller plant in Windsor, Virginia, with 32,000 square meters of floor space on a 170,000-square-meter site, targeting operations in the first half of 2027. Total investment in the U.S. plant and expanded lines in Pyeongtaek and Changwon is about 150 billion won ($110.24 million).
