GDV: ADAS-Equipped Cars Earn Better 2027 Insurance Ratings in Germany

Germany's GDV published its 2027 Typklassen statistics: 12.5 million of 42.5 million drivers get a new liability class, with 7.4 million moved up and 5.1 million down. ADAS-equipped EVs posted the biggest gains, with the VW ID.7 Pro 210 dropping from class 19 to 14 and the Mercedes CLA 200 Shooting Brake from 20 to 14.
