Nvidia launches Open Agent Safety Platform to stop rogue AI agents

Nvidia released its open-source Open Agent Safety Platform, combining the OpenShell sandbox with chip-level Sentry quarantine that freezes suspicious agent activity in milliseconds. More than 100 partners including Microsoft, Accenture and JPMorgan Chase back the effort, announced alongside a $150 billion stock buyback that lifts Nvidia's total repurchase program to $235 billion.
