Synopsys unveils AgentEngineer AI agents for silicon-to-system design

Synopsys launched AgentEngineer, long-horizon AI agents built on the open Autopilot platform for autonomous engineering across verification, implementation, analog, manufacturing, simulation and analysis. The company claims up to 50× faster verification closure, 20% higher coverage and a 30% productivity gain. More than 50 engagements are underway, with general availability planned for late 2026.
