Ciena launches $200m venture fund as AI networking accelerates

Ciena has announced Ciena Ventures with an initial commitment of $200 million. The corporate venture program will invest in early-stage companies and technology-focused venture funds in networking infrastructure, optical technologies and next-generation data center architectures for the AI era. The initiative will be led by Loai Louis, VP of corporate development.
