Ameren Missouri proposes gas- and coal-heavy plan to power data centers

Ameren Missouri filed a long-range energy plan with state regulators that adds 5,400 MW of new gas capacity by 2032 (+1,700 MW), delays coal plant retirements at Labadie and Sioux, and cuts wind and solar investment. The utility also dropped its CO2 reduction goals from the plan's promotional materials.
