Two US Air Force members sentenced for cyber theft of over $2 million

Chijioke Timothy Odimegwu, 25, and Harafat Mogaji, 26, stationed at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, received 9-year and 6.5-year sentences for a business email compromise scheme. They targeted at least 15 organizations and stole more than $2 million, including payments of $1.7 million and $720,000.

• Odimegwu got over 9 years, Mogaji 6.5 years in prison
• Restitution of $366,617 and $995,680 respectively
• At least 15 victim organizations, over $2 million stolen
• Scheme ran more than two years before FBI caught them
