ABB E-Device Brings ISO 10218:2025-Compliant Robot Control to Any Tablet or PC
ABB Robotics launched the E-Device, a compact module that lets workers operate, program and monitor industrial robots from any tablet or PC. It adds the hardware emergency-stop button and three-position enabling switch required by ISO 10218:2025, running ABB's OmniCore User Interface on the worker's own device.
- E-Device connects to any Windows tablet or PC and runs the OmniCore UI
- Module includes an emergency stop and a three-position enabling switch per IEC 60947-5-8
- Device carries CE and UL certifications and complies with ISO 10218:2025
- A single tablet can be moved between E-Device-equipped robots on the same floor
