Report: 7 of Earth's 9 planetary boundaries already breached

The Planetary Health Check 2026 report, written by more than 60 scientists, finds that seven of nine planetary boundaries have been breached, including climate change, ocean acidification and biosphere integrity. Four boundaries sit in the danger zone with a risk of irreversible harm, while two remain within safe limits.
