Meta plans cinching strap accessory for active VR gaming on VR Glasses

Meta will sell an accessory for active VR gaming on its VR Glasses: a cinching strap that connects the tips of both temple arms to hold the headset more securely. The glasses were announced at Connect 2026 and launch in Spring 2027 for $1,300. A magnetic light blocker and Zenni Optical prescription lenses are also planned.
