China's Type 004 carrier may outsize USS Ford in length

China is building the Type 004 at Dalian Shipyard, believed to be its first nuclear-powered supercarrier. Analysts estimate its length at 1,112.2 feet, slightly longer than the USS Gerald R. Ford, with displacement of 110,000–120,000 tons. It is not expected to enter service before 2027.
