Working Apple-1 with Jobs letter could fetch $800,000 at auction

Bonhams will auction a working Apple-1 owned by original buyer Fred Hatfield, estimated at $500,000–$800,000. The machine is one of only 74 known surviving Apple-1 computers, bears Steve Wozniak's signature and comes with a 1978 Steve Jobs letter offering a trade-in for an Apple II. The online sale runs October 4–14 in New York.
