Ex-X-Force Red leaders launch RemoteThreat with $7M for AI cyber ops

Chris Thompson and Shawn Jones, former heads of IBM's X-Force Red, have founded RemoteThreat, an offensive cybersecurity startup with $7 million in pre-seed funding. Its AI platform spans eight systems and roughly 1,000 tools for planning and executing attacks, with access limited to vetted enterprises and US government customers.
