Meta changes WhatsApp Business pricing in India from October 1

Starting October 1, 2026, Meta will charge for utility messages on the WhatsApp Business Platform in India, including order confirmations and delivery updates sent within the 24-hour window. The rate is 0.115 rupees per delivered message before GST (about 0.136 rupees with tax), marketing messages cost 0.8631 rupees and OTPs 0.115 rupees. Regular users will not be affected.
