New tick-borne virus ALTNV discovered in China

Scientists in China identified a previously unknown orthonairovirus, ALTNV, causing fever, fatigue and GI symptoms. Among 3,163 patients, 10.4% tested positive, rising to 15.1% among those negative for DBV.
