IFPI Wants Open Source YouTube Downloader yt-dlp on EU Piracy Watch List

The IFPI has asked the European Commission to add open source YouTube downloader yt-dlp to its Counterfeit and Piracy Watch List, calling it a "major problem" for the music industry. The submission names four GitHub maintainers and also flags AI cover apps Rythmix and MusiQ AI.
