Minecraft Dungeons II doesn't run on SteamOS / Linux

On release day, Minecraft Dungeons II appears unplayable on SteamOS and Linux: it requires Microsoft Game Services, which fails under Valve's Proton and results in a black screen. Mojang developer Marc Watson said the studio never claimed support for the platform and that adding platforms is a deliberate, resource-heavy decision.
