SenseTime launches SenseMart OS for embodied retail robots

SenseTime unveiled SenseMart OS, a physical operating system for retail that connects heterogeneous robots, store equipment and commercial operations. Its SenseMart Go robotic stores now run in over 20 locations across China, breaking even in about 6–12 months.

• SenseMart OS links wheeled dual-arm robots, humanoids and grippers to retail equipment
• One employee supports 3–5 stores, about 0.2–0.3 workers per location
• Robots run roughly 6 hours per charge and need charging twice a day
• Each store carries 150–200 SKUs and breaks even in 6–12 months
