UAE AI minister: data centres are now “more important than bridges”

UAE Minister of AI Omar Sultan Al Olama said at Dreamforce in San Francisco that data centres have become critical infrastructure and are now more important than bridges and roads. The UAE will stop publishing their locations after two Salesforce data centres in the country were destroyed on the first day of the war. According to him, in the first week the UAE repelled over a thousand shells and drones.
