Pixel phones hit by intermittent NFC tap-to-pay failures

Pixel 8, 9, 10 and 11 owners report that NFC contactless payments and passes only work intermittently. The issue appeared last week and is temporarily fixed by restarting the phone. Google has not yet commented on the cause.
