Independent testing found the Samsung G9N OLED panel in the iPhone 18 Pro loses color accuracy at just 20 degrees off-axis, peaking near 3.0 JNCD at 35–40 degrees. The Elec reports Apple cut OLED procurement prices roughly 20% to $66.50–70 per panel from $80. The 1TB and 2TB models use slower QLC NAND from SK Hynix instead of TLC.
